Novaya

OVERVIEW

Novaya is a solo game you can play on PC, made in 8 weeks and with a team of 7 (3 game designers & 4 game artists).

It is a puzzle game playable on PC with a touch of non-Euclidean. The player relives the life of a lady through the memory of her lost mind, from her death to her reincarnation, passing through all the stages of her life. The player is confronted to the strong moments of her life, with places that are familiar to her. He also has to understand how to progress in the game by solving the riddles and mysteries around these labyrinthine places.

MY ROLES

  • Lead Game Design

​

I got the role of Lead Game Designer since I presented the original idea for the project. I made sure the project was going to the right direction and worked on the project management.

  • Level Design

​

I designed the first 2 levels (out of 3) which were: the labyrinthine forest where the grave of the lost soul was, and the lady's house where she spent most of her adult life and where she died in.

​

  • Engine Integration

​

I integrated most assets in Unity to replace my blockouts and puzzles and I helped the graphist team to do the Level Art of the house.
